Public Hunting at Fort Custer occurs during the state-wide firearm season. There are both firearm areas to hunt (3-8) and bowhunt only areas (1-2). Typically public hunting occurs on three separate periods 1st period is opening day of firearm season 2nd period is the first Saturday/Sunday of the season and 3rd period is the second Saturday/Sunday of the season. A blackpowder hunt is also available during the month of December. |
